DMX Letterbox upload control not showing 16100 7

Hi guys, we are evaluating DMX Document Exchange for a project we are developing. We need our users to upload (let's say 'blind upload') files to our portal in a specific directory, always the same, and the extension LetterBox is just what we need. Hi Peter, We just purchased the latest version 5.3.3 and are running into some issues getting this working properly on a DNN 5.02.02 site. I have installed and uninstalled several times with no errors. This is an upgrade from a previous version 5.2.2 which we have live on another site with no issues. Hi Peter, Running DNN 5.5.1 I upgraded to DMX v5.3.5 from 5.3.2. Afterward I found the storage settings had the repository setting set back to 'Default' and the change extensions was selected. In addition, the Search settings were set back to the default Lucene search provider, from the 'Windows Indexing Service Search Provider'. Icons broken after upgrade 3228 1

It seems that after my upgrade the icons for file types and collections are not rendering properly. I can 'fix' this for file types by putting the full path in the icon16 and icon32 sections of the table, but this is not a very elegant solution. I'm guessing for some reason it's not reading these lines properly since instead of using the CSS class and utilizing the icon16/32/48.png files it's just trying to point to the path of //filetype-gif, which obviously won't work. We are getting a warning message at the bottom of DMX that says; 'Your service period for this license has expired on 10/29/2010. Check your licenses on your licenses page on www.bring2mind.net. Log in using the account you received when you first bought the product.' I have verified that the license page states the product is good until 10/29/2011. DMX 5.3.3 DNN 4.9.5

Hi all,
i'm trying to test the latest DMX release 5.3.2 on a clean DNN 5.5.1 install. My server is a Windows Server 2003 with SP2.
DMX is installing without issues, but when inserting the module on a blank page, it looks very weird. Examining the problem in Firebug shows that the module.css is not loaded, because the request looks like this:
http://mydomain/DesktopModules/Bring2mind5CDMX/module.css
It contains a backslash instead of a slash and IIS fails to server the file. When i manually ...

Custom FileType Images 4811 8

It would appear that custom FileTypes images are not rendering any longer. Some of these FileTypes have been in DMX for years and now no longer appear. Adding new FileTypes has the same result. Also, custom FileTypes do not appear in the FileType admin view for editing nor do they in File Upload controls dropdown list. Please advise.

Files not showing after upload 3458 3

We have DMX 5.2.11 installed on DNN 5.5.1 under IIS 6 and it appears to be working properly. But, when we upload a file (Microsoft Word Documents) it doesn't show up until the next day or until we run the DMX.Services.Scheduled.Maintenance task that is scheduled to run every 12 hours by default. Any idea what we are doing wrong

Hi there,
we are using DMX for some human resource issues.
Therefore there are a lot of different folders, most of the folders have their own rights (for groups or single users).
My question is: when one is adding a document to a folder, I would like to inform the owner of this folder. The owner can be a single person, but also a user-group. Each one should receive a mail.
Is this posible

Hi peter,
&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160; I have a requirement that can i use 2 DMX&160;module in same portal. But i need to have different files to be uploaded. I tried in the trial version but i get the same files and the docuoments in both the DMX&160;instances. How can i achive this&160; can u suggest me some idea. Thanks. Downloading files doesn't work anymore 3934 4

Hi!
I just upgraded from DMX 5.2.11 to 5.3.0 (DNN still 5.5.1). Installation didn't deliver any error.
I'm using the S storage provider.
When trying to download any file, I got the error: 'file doesn't exist'. The file name which is displayed in the modal box (Open... / Save ... / Cancel) doesn't show a valid file name but an hyperling which doesn't seem to be well formed.
Any idea

Activation problem after upgrade 3471 1

I did an upgrade to the newest DNN version and to the newest Document Exchange version. After the upgrade my activation state was 'not activated' (allthough it was 'activated' before the upgrade). So I did a new activation on a system that was already activated before.
The problem now is, that I had 2 activations in total and now I have none left. I've never activated it on two different portals. Both times I had to activate it on the same portal.
Is this correct What have I done wrong
