Hi, I have created a synchronized folder using DMX6 under DNN6.0.2 in webmatrix. After I copy the site under IIS, so that it can be accessed by the computers in my network, the synchronized folder has stopped working. When I add or delete a file in the server folder, the DMX folder did not change. The conflict resolution is copy both ways. Even when I created a new sync folder, the folder is empty. I added ssl to my portal. I enabled enforce both the ssl and enforce ssl on site settings. I enabled SSL on the page with the dmx module. The page does show it being SSL but when I right click on a file and click show download link it shows http:// currently running 5.8.3

Hi, I would like to sync a folder in DMX to my company's office server. How to ensure that the files in the server is always in higher priority, i.e. if someone delete a file in DMX, the file in the server will not be deleted. In Reindex Portal script default page size is 25 i.e. when the ReIndex Portal script is executed it processes 25 documents at a time and calls Re-Index script page recursively till all the documents are getting indexed. This paging need to be avoided and all the documents should get re-index in one page call. Please suggest what can be done to achieve this.

How to move a large DMX repository from portal to another 2527 1

We are completely redeveloping a website that has a DMX repository (Version 5.03). This work is being done on DNN 5.06 as another portal on the same installation. A Large number of categories exists and users. We are expanding the use of the repository with new products, documents, and categories. I am upgrading to DNN 6.02 and DMX 6.0.0.2. (latest versions) All Backups done. When the time comes How do I move the documents/categories in DMX to the new portal

Is there a way to log when a person that receives a link to a download that it is logged. Is the mail link information recorded anywhere For audit purposes we need to be able to prove we sent an email to a person with the download link and that they did download the file(s). If you had something like a table with emails generated and the links attached. When they download the file you capture the link they used to tie back.

New folders and files not appearing in DMX 3215 8

Hi, Up to a few weeks ago DMX was working fine. I now have an issue where when I add a folder or file it does not appear in the folder list. All the old folders and files appear normally. I had a look in the SQL table DMX entries and found that the entries where there but missing LastVersionID and LastModified date. When I manually put this data in (by putting in current time and copying entry from EntryID) it appears in the DMX folder list. Any ideas on how to repair this I am run...

Hi, We currently have around 26000 files in our DMX installation and several thousand that have incorrect file sizes displayed. I've tried running the Reset Sizes script but it only does about 1400 files per hour. Is there a way to speed Reset Sizes script or run outside of DNN

Looking for some advice before I resort to trial and error: I have a migration project that requires me to move files from a default DNN repository to DMX. I am able successfully to migrate the files en masse by a combination of exporting the file names, copying and renaming (using VB Scripts) the files to remove the GUID that repository inserts into the file names and then using the DMX bulk import facility. Hi there, Mr. Noob here... thought I'd check in here first before I do something I might regret... I used the Move Old Content To New Storage Provider script to migrate our 12.5 GB library to S3 from the local file system storage provider and it appears to be working fine. For a sync folder created in a DMX, we want to append only new documents shared in its mapped physical folder and also maintain its earlier uploaded documents on executing synchronization script. We are using DMX 5.3.7 on DNN 5.6.2. There doesn't appear to be anything in release notes about newer versions that might address this. I have a location set to sync both ways between a domain share and DMX. Occassionally we are seeing a file that was just uploaded getting deleted by the DMX Synch Folder task.
