Hiding permissions when uploading

Hi, i want to enable users upload files to the storage without setting the permissions. I dont want to expose the DNN users/groups in the wizzard to the user. So a user that have permissions to upload can just do it and skipping the security setting step. Is this possible? DMX 4 (trial) on DNN455

Hi Lars, Yes. Go to 'main options' and set 'permissions only by admin'. Peter

I'm having this similar problem only I do have 'permissions only by admin' selected on that folder. When a user other than admin loads a doc the permissions window is visible and editable during the upload process. Afterwards when the user selects 'Edit Attributes' the permissions are no longer available. I don't want the user to ever see the permissions much less be able to alter them for the item(s) they are loading. Is this possible? Seems like a bug to me.

Denise, This was a bug. The behavior should be as you expected. It will be fixed for 04.03.01 (should be out next week). Kind regards, Peter
