Hi Peter

We are about to launch a new section of an existing site - http://alf.com.m-  that in a a private section has  Document Exchange. This was added in order to enable our client to provide accounting services to his clients reducing operating costs.

Our customer is complaining though that the site is having a poor performance when loading documents and when navigating the document management module to look for files, especially when four or more of his employees are uploading files to the server through the DMX module.

How can I optimize DMX for a better performance?
In what general ways do others optimize the performance of DNN?
Please provide us with all the "recipes" that you know of, from template size reduction to webconfig file and other types of "tweaking".

Thank you
Jose

Hi Jose,

Is using the templated UI an option? It has less functions but offers most basic functionality. It is easier to cache and compress for IIS and it could be more performant in certain scenarios.
