Good morning! Is there probably an option I haven't found to filter search results (or even folder contents) by Categories? For example a search returns about 100 Files - it would just be great to have the possibility to only see the files which are in category "B".... Thanks in advance! -Chris

Hi Chris, No there isn't a way to do this currently. We're looking at a new search control for 5.3. Peter

Hi Peter, what suddenlay came into our minds which might also be nice to have: A filter by category for "Zip and download". So one would be able to download a complete folder structure containing only files of certain categories. Would be really cool... What do you think? -Chris

There is an add-on for DMX called Category Short List (on the Downloads page). I use it to parse out certain categories.

Various features that are not "mainstream" will find their way into extensions. This way the DMX core remains as lean as we can keep it. Check out what's there. There's going to be more as time goes on. Peter

About Bring2mind

Bring2mind is the company of Peter Donker, a DotNetNuke enthusiast who has been involved with the platform from the very beginning.
