Do you have a demo where i can see how the documents can be viewed in a browser window. I've installed the trial version but i cant get anything to open up inside a browser. The view & edit options dont appear when i click on an item.

I tried your demo site but it has the same problems. The View & Edit options dont appear in the menu

Are you referring to WebDAV? In that case: you'll need to follow all instructions on getting WebDAV to work in the installation manual and the WebDAV help file. You'll also need to enable it and give the users permission (Main Options).

Note WebDAV is not the same as "opening in the browser". The latter is when a document is opened inline in a browser window instead of being downloaded. This does *not* open the document for editing, but only for display. It is not uncommon to do this for PDFs for instance. You can adjust the setting for the PDF file type in DMX to open in the browser instead of download. But the result of this is still subject to how the end user has configured his/her client system. If the PDF plugin is not installed for the browser, for instance, the browser will still prompt to download.
