No idea. Do you use an audit email address?

No i don't use an audit email address. But all of the receivers are in the Approval Role. Is there a way to disable this behaviour ?????

Approvers are also notified of unapproved content, yes. There is currently no way to switch that off.

But this should be possible in the next version.
By the way, https is not supported by your way of subscription. This would be very needful !!

What if you're a registered user and you want to subscribe to a collection that has no entries yet so that you'll be notified when a document is added. How do you go about doing that?

Go to the collection and hit the 'subscribe' button.

    Hi Peter,

I tested this and I am only able to subscribe to a collection after I navigate to it, this I am able to do at the DMX module which I designated to show the root collection of all my documents for my site. But my concern is for the DMX modules I placed in my content pages in which I've set the root collection of the module to be the specific folders corresponding to that content section. When I hit the Subscribe button, the designated collection does not get added to "My Subscriptions" list.

    Katrin,
I believe that is impossible, yes. Sorry. It is always a delicate balancing act how many operations one allows on the virtual root. It has recently been 'locked down' after some customers found this could be abused (for instance editing the root and changing the permissions). It appears the subscription feature has subsequently vanished, too. I'll see what I can do about this.
