DMX Version: 4.0.0.1 Exist a way that User can Download or Open the File when clicking on the item in the list instead of cklick on Link in the details? We have become this question often today from many employes by our goverment customer! Thank You!!!

Unless I have misunderstood your question, simply right click on the item that you want to download and a menu will appear providing you with the appropriate options.

Sorry The Employes will make in the Item-List a left-click instead of a right-click with the mouse to download or display the document or file! I hope this description is better!!! Thank You

Hi Guido, If I understand you correctly you'd like to open through something like double-click, right? I have tried an implementation of this but the double click was not detected very well by the components I use, so it was next to useless (you would get a lot of complaints about it). Single left-click is not an option because it is already used for regular selection. What you can do as an alternative is to add the DMX as a network resource on their Windows machines. Then through their windows explorer they can double-click and open the documents. Peter

Hi Peter, we cannot use Webdav because the Portal will be access from many many peoples (All Parents, Goverment Personal and Teachers ) from Austria Country, the service is for the complete Country! We remember in one of the Beta Versions the Document is opening when we make a Double-Click with the left Mouse-Button on the Document-Symbol. In the current Release is this Feature not implemented. Can you implement this Feature also in the Release. Thank You Guido

Hi Guido, I understand about the WebDAV. The double click was giving too much trouble, so I didn't include it in the final release. It can still be implemented as it can still be trapped in JS. We'd need to handle this in a separate track. Peter
