Hi Peter,

First , I would like to say that the DMX 4 is great improvment .

It has many features and the look & feel is much better.

I started implment it in our company web site and run into few issues :

1. The module rais javascript error : "Sys.UI.DOMEvnet is null or not an object"
Do you have any insight on this error

2. The Category section cannot accept '&' character . it through an error and the module become unusable . (I went into the DB to fix it)

3. I could not found any Copy / Paste for Items or Folders

4. Is there Drag & Drop option ?

5. Is there Sync Folder feature ?
I build my folder structure in the file system and it will import it (include files) to the DMX interface.

I also would like to suggest to open new forum section for DMX 4 related issues.

I'm sure I'll have more comments as I'll move forward with the implementation.

Few updates .... I found that the SYS.UI.DOMEvent error is related to my local machine .

Is there a way to hide the detail pane from the end user ?

Is there a way to edit it ?

DMX4 Detail-Pane:

The Detail pane cannot hide completly but you can change the Parts in the Detail Pane was is displayed in this Area.

Please make every a Backup of the Files before you make changes!!!

File-Name and Location for Displaying and Formating Details in DMX4

File-Name: Details.ascx

File-Location: \DesktopModules\Bring2mind\DMX\Controls

Add-Info:

You cannot hide or remove all Infos from the ascx, i remember me that we have become a error when we have removed a specified part from the ascx please test this with removes ever for one single part.

Copy and Paste of Folders or Items in DMX4

This action is Easy in DMX4!

Copy:

• Navigate in your Folder-Tree that you see in the right list the item or Folder what you will copy.
• Click on the right Mouse-Button and wait
• Context-Menu with name Folder or Item is opening
• Move your Mouse over the Name Item or Folder to dispaly the next Level of the Menu
• No you see a list and e Menu Entry with "Add to Clipboard" click on this
• Now you have the Folder or the Item in the DMX Clipboard.

Paste:

• Navigate in your Folder-Tree that you see the Location where you will place the Content of you Clipboard
• Now click with the right Mouse-Button in the Left Folder-Free on the Folder in what you will put your copied content.
• Context-Menu is Open and Name Folder is Displayed
• Move our Mouse over the Name Folder and the next level from the Menu is opened
• Now you see in the new Level the Entry Clipboard
• Move your Mouse over the Entry Clipboard and a new Menu Level is Displayed
• Now you have 2 Menu Entries "Copy Clipboard to Here" and Move Clipboard to Here"
• Click on the needed action and you have copy or move your content.

Drag & Drop is not supported by DMX4!

Sync Folder Function

DMX 4 Support Directory Imports works how followed.

• Navigate in you Folder-Tree that you Folder is displayed in what you will import your Files or Directories.
• Right-Clink on the Folder and Move you Mouse over the Entry Folder that display the next Menu-Level.
• In the opened Menu-Level you see the Entry Import, click on this
• Now you can write in teh Field your Path what you will import
• Your Import Directory must be located on your Webserver to import your Files or Directories.
• Click on Test Access
• You become the Message Read is ok or not ok.
• Is the read test not ok verify the right path or access-right for the Worker-Prozess
• Is the Read-test successfull import the Directory
• Action-Log is display with the imported files
• Click on the end of the page on the link to go back to the DMX Module
