Hi,

Your documentation reads:

Upload of very large (up to 2GB) files
DMX includes a component that will allow the user to upload large files by streaming directly to hard disk instead of server memory.

Is there something that I have to do to activate this component? When uploading a large file (18mb) I get a exception:

Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: Maximum request length exceeded.

Also, no progress bar, as disploayed in your images, is showing when uploading files.

Best Regards

C

Hi Erik,

This is set in IIS, not in DMX. Google on 'maxRequestLength' and 'executionTimeout' and you'll get all the info you need.

Erik,

Did you get this issue worked out? Do you mind posting any findings or advice? For example, if a hosting company hosts your site, were they helpful in fixing the issue or could you do it yourself.

Thanks
Ken
