is therre a way to show in my page only the files from a categorie with a link to dowload them without all the menu and trees?

Client has 3 main categories of documents, let's call them nuts, bolts, and washers. They wish to create 3 separate pages, each displaying the contents of a specific category of documents. Can't mix the nuts with the bolts, bolts with the washers, etc. It's not a permissions issue (all users have the same access), just a display preference/requirement. Is this possible in DMX 4? If so, how can it be acheived?

Hi Joel, Nothing is impossible, but this can be made easy or difficult as far as you wish. If you want to have a read-only interface based on the DMX 3 categories interface, for instance, it can be quite easy. If you want the regular DMX 4 interface it becomes more difficult. Everything is in SQL so it CAN be done. You can get in touch with me (peter at bring2mind.net) to work this out and we can see if this is something that can be done within your budget constraints. Joel, as far as I know Effority just created such a module. It simply displays the list of documents which belong to a specified category or to a specified DMX-folder. However it realy only displays the list of documents (links), it does not have the DMX-features (multiple document select, subscription, sorting etc.) Maybe it is not yet officially released, just ask them by e-mail. http://www.effority.net/
