    1. Are you running a debug version?
    2. Can you verify permissions on DotNetNuke.Common.HostMapPath & "\DMX\Log"? It should be able to write to it.

    I just gave "Everyone" access to the log. And while I was there, I happened to look in the log and found the following errors:

    0602 073427: Ident error: Access denied
    0602 073427:    at System.Management.ManagementException.ThrowWithExtendedInfo(ManagementStatus errorCode)
       at System.Management.ManagementScope.InitializeGuts(Object o)
       at System.Management.ManagementScope.Initialize()
       at System.Management.ManagementObject.Initialize(Boolean getObject)
       at System.Management.ManagementClass.GetInstances(EnumerationOptions options)
       at System.Management.ManagementClass.GetInstances()
       at Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.Licensing.Identification..ctor(IdentificationType IdentificationType)

    Any idea what would cause these errors and how to fix them? What looks to be related to the license.

    Hi Tiphanie,

    Looks like a code access error.What version of DMX is this? I believe this was taken care of a while back.

    DMX 03.04.01

    They are on my list to upgrade but it probably won't be for another month since we are in the process of relocating their site.

    That would explain it. For now you'll have to go full trust then. Newer versions have this taken care of. 03.04.01 still had another mechanism for the activation which became a problem with the .net CAS (Code Access Security).
