Hi,

I'm having an issue when attempting to update a hyperlink entry in DMX. I'm on the latest version of DMX 5.3.9. Here is a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/KawNX.png

Basically, I attempt to update the link and I get a validation message that I need to upload a file which isn't a part of this process. The process works correctly when creating a new hyperlink. It appears to only be an issue when attempting to update the link with a new version.

Thanks for any help,

Jesse

Apologies. I meant to put this under the User Interface forum.

Is anyone else having similar issues? Should I re-open a ticket under the correct topic?

Hi Jesse,

I've not seen this before. Do file uploads work correctly?

Hi Peter,

I think if you look at the image in my original post you'll understand what is going on. As far as I understand, there is no reason for the validation for file uploads to be firing when I'm trying to add a new version of a hyperlink. It is preventing me from hitting next and saving the updated hyperlink.

Hi Peter,

Is there an estimated time that we can expect a fix for this issue? My client has some major documentation updates coming in early November so I was hoping to use this functionality to update their documentation rather than creating new links.

Thanks,

Jesse

It's done for DMX 6. DMX 6 will hopefully be out in a week. If not it will be out at the very latest after DNN World (9-10 Nov) when I return.
