Love the module working really well. One issue though is that when I right click a PDF and click view, the popup comes up but doesnt show the PDF

DEBUGGING

I can view Jpegs, and in the settings PDF's are set to view.

Thanks in advance.

This is *highly* dependent on Acrobat's embedding in your browser. All DMX does is just stream the PDF to the client and tells it that it's a PDF. It is up to the browser to figure out what to do with it. I only have general pointers like "reinstall Acrobat" or "check Acrobat version nrs". But there is not much else I can do about it.

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem. I also use the Gallery Server Pro module and there I don't encounter this view problem.

Can I set viewing as the default; when I double click a file? Now it always want to download....People usually want to see what it is before they start a download...

Thanks
Jan

The behavior of the UI is steered for the most part through Javascript. If you have the partial source version you can edit this javascript to make it do what you want for different actions. You could try to do it in the regular version but the javascript is minified, so adjusting it is difficult.

And about the PDFs: there is nothing DMX can do more than it does. It sends out the embed code to the browser. The browser is responsible for loading Acrobat and displaying the PDF.

I can't answer that, sorry. It falls outside the scope of the module.
