We are running a slightly modified version of DMX 5.3.7.

The modifications are to the file upload process and should not be impacting this issue in anyway as far as I know.

We have a series of hyperlinks in a text/html module that point back to the document library. The links are created by using the "Show Direct Link" feature of the document library.

These links usually work. However, from time to time, usually when the links are clicked pretty quickly one right after the other we are getting this message:

HTTP/1.1 302 Found Date: Mon, 19 Mar 2012 15:57:19 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0 X-Powered-By: ASP.NET X-AspNet-Version: 2.0.50727 Location: https://removed/DesktopModules/Bring2min d/DMX/Download.aspx?Command=Core_Download&EntryId=596&Portal Id=0&TabId=238 Set-Cookie: language=en-US; path=/; HttpOnly Cache-Control: private Vary: * Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 625236
Object moved to here.

The browser is throwing this error:
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; InfoPath.2; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)

I've not seen that error before. It looks like it identifies some sort of Javascript error. My guess is that some javascript on the page does not get a chance to finish. You could use the other link pattern to help alleviate this. The other pattern is the one that is redirected to: DesktopModules/Bring2mind/DMX/Download.aspx?EntryId=596&Portal Id=0&TabId=23. That should not emit the standard DMX page.
