I added a module that utilizes a template to display documents within a selected category. I thought you could simply choose the root category within the "other Data Settings" and I would be all set. However, I found that the template shows everything within the selected root folder no matter what category has been selected. Am I simply missing something, or can this not be done? In the mean time I have created a subfolder and am using that to filter the documents shown in the template, but that will not accommodate documents that could belong to multiple categories.

I'll see about replicating this. Maybe it's a bug.

Hello Peter,

Were you able to replicate at all? If not I can get you access to the site to see if I have anything screwed up.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Does the "CatID=xyz" show up in the querystring? This is necessary to tell DMX which category to load.

Second question: did you start with the category browser template and tweaked from that?

I'm not including the CatId in the querystring. I just noticed that I was using that method in a previous site using DMX. I was thinking that using the setting was good enough. I'll give that a try and see if it makes a difference. I do not remember which template I used to create the page any longer. I know I just copied one of them and basically replaced everything, so I didn't think it would make much of a difference. Thanks for your help, I figured I was just missing something simple.
