Hi there, I am a brand-new user of this module (actually trying to feel my way through the trial version right now). I have successfully installed the module, created folders, and set permissions. However, I cannot for the life of me seem to figure out how to perform the simple task of approving a document.

I uploaded a document yesterday before I knew enough to remove the checkbox on the "Approve" column in the permissions setup under 'Edit Attributes'. the document is now sitting in my "My Unapproved Items" folder, but I can't figure out how to approve it. I am logged in as Host.

I have been all over the internet and all through these forums and cannot find a trace of instruction over how to approve a document using this module.

Any guidance on this would be appreciated.

Hi again!
I found something in a support document that indicates that right-clicking the item should give the user a menu with the option to approve. I do not have such an option when right-clicking the document.

Since I uploaded the document with Approval set to Yes, then reverted that configuration, I will try removing this document and re-uploading it with the new (non-approval-required) configuration in place.

The "approve" checkbox immediately approves a document. It is available to those with approval permissions. If you upload a file and you have no approval permissions, then you don't see the checkbox. Those with approval permissions will see the document in unapproved state and can opt to approve it.
