Hi,

Using the flexible root pattern I can setup a personal folder for each user which works great for projects I have done in the past.

My requirement at the moment is where a list of profiles (residents) need to have a document repository attached to each profile. The difference this time is if I have a list of profiles on a page (member directory) is it is possible (maybe a token) when a profile is click on that an instance of DMX can be on the full profile page and just show the folder for that profile.

DMX works fine when you want the current user to view their folder using the flexible root pattern but what about when another user wants to view another users folder when viewing their profile.

Thanks.

Hi Leslie,

That is indeed not the same. But there may be a solution. You need the [query:xyz] token. That links to the querystring. So in this case it looks for the parameter "xyz". Note that the member directory I think is driven by UserId, so that means you need to redo some work if you've been using username until now. Or you could have a "public" and a "private" folder for users. It's up to you.
