DMX 6.4.7 on DNN 9.8.1. Server 2016 with IIS 10

Looking to setup WebDAV.

Do I just follow MS documentation (see below for link) on enabling on the server and just enable in the DMX settings?

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/install/installing-publishing-technologies/installing-and-configuring-webdav-on-iis

Thanks.

Yes, this is still applicable AFAIK. It is no longer possible to start applications from a browser, so you can't get Word to automatically fire up. But you can open a WebDAV link from Word and this will work.

I was able to configure WebDAV.

I can browse to the DMX directories and even delete files, however when trying to add anything I receive this error.

error 0x800704DC: The operation being requested was not performed because the user has not been authenticated.

Is there something I'm not doing right?

It is weird about the discrepancy, yes. What program are you using to browse the directories?

I cannot replicate that. Can you confirm that (1) this is a registered user account you're using and you authenticated in webdav, and (2) the user is able to add content to that folder in the web UI?

BTW, I found that mapping network drive doesn't work with https protocol but that you need to use:

net use * https://myserver.com/dmxdav.axd

And then you're prompted for credentials and logged in.
