Dear all, we had problems with establishing WebDAV connection via Windows Explorer as well. The authentication dialogue kept popping up, although dmx path and login data were correct. We just couldn't add DMX as a network ressource to our Windows Explorer.
The solution to our problem was this:

We added an item to the XP registry as described. Now it works fine! (Thanks to Benjamin Hermman from ITM Consulting for finding out!)

Best, Mathias

Mathias, Peter and Benjamin,

That works perfectly!!

Now we just have to work out how to regedit dozens of remote users without causing chaos...

Peter, apologies for not getting back with the Fiddler results on this (I have a tempremental VPN link to the server running the DMS and no manner of configurations would get Fiddler sniffing properly).

Best regards,

Keith

Bah, posted too soon.

It appears that the restart of the webclient is what does the trick.

So making the regedit and stopping and restarting the webclient (win xp sp2) clears the authentication prompt.

But upon restarting the machine, it's back again.

Simply restarting the webclient again from the cmd line clear it...

Don't know!!
