New files and folders not showing immediately 2985 1

We have problem on new files and folders not showing immediately. We need to wait for server to be restarted (cache restart) before we can see the new files. Is there any setting to fix this issue

Hi Peter, We just ran across a nice2have: My users ask for a seperate search rsult pane which only shows entries of a specific type (In our case 'Collection.ejitem'). I managed to tweak search.aspx that way that it only shows these entries with IIF(DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, 'EntryType')='Collection.ejitem', &91;...&93;, '') But still all rows of the result set render as empty rows. I restored a live DNN site&160;with DMX5.3.2 installed&160;to another live development site. Then I deleted all the existing DMX instance and added a new DMX instance, set the 'Default View Screen:' as TempalteView.ascx. RSS - Can't make it work 3205 2

Hello, We are using 5.0.2 of DMX (using DNN 5.1.1). We have activated RSS, the icon shows up. When clicking on the RSS icon we receive an error. Missing equals sign between attribute and attribute value. Line: 28 Character: 32 The error seems to be the space in the Global Attribute 'Synchronized Folder'. We went to the Global Attributes and replaced the space with an Underscore (hopefully this won't break anything else). Unfortunately this did not fix the RSS complet...

The issue we face is that there's a lot of upfront manual work that we would need to accomplish before we can fully use the built-in DMX tools. Can you tell me where the settings are stored at for the MAIN&160;OPTIONS page The one option in particular I am interested in finding is Default Portal Alias.&160; I am running into an issue with the content of the email notifications. Inside the notification emails, the default path (&91DMX:DefaultPath&93) is displaying incorrectly.&160; I have searched this forum but did not find anything useful to help me troubleshoot this.

I just updated Document Exchange to 5.3.2 (DNN&160;5.6) and get the 404 error for Telerik_Rad_Bring2mind_UploadProgressHandler.aspx. Those errors disappear when I switch the Upload Control to AspnetUploadProvide, but show up for the other two options. While I was adjusting the settings, I noticed that the web.config settings were not being updated - the settings return to the default state after I turn off RadUpload and hit Update (RadUpload is toggled back to on). I am evaluating DMX with the 30 day trial and so far it is looking great.
I have configured the flexible root pattern so that it auto creates a folder using this token: &91User:Username&93 and it is creating the folder correctly so that is good too.
However, ideally I&160;would like it to: auto create&160;a folder for the user with&160;VIEW permissions for the user only and then auto create a subfolder called 'Uploads' with ADD permissions.
So each user ends up with a structure like

I have the DMX module working perfectly in FF, Safari, and Chrome.&160; But in IE8 I'm getting the error message:

Did you register the RadUploadProgressHandler in web.config

Hi Peter,
is there a way to auto-update the database after adding custom filetypes By now I haven't found anything like this.
Our workflow normally is to add a filetype AFTER noticing that its not yet recognized by DMX. After adding the filetype, I have to manually update the database like this:
update DMX_Entries&160;set EntryType = 'File.newfiletype' where OriginalFileName like '.newextension' and PortalId = (ourportalid)
Would be great to have that done in one sweep with adding the fil...

Why sometimes when visiting a page with an DMX instance sits on, it pops up an 'Authentication Required' box. And could not proceed to view the page even all the permissions are correct. And if clicked No then '401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials'&160;occurred. I searched around and did not find the right solution.
