A client of mine sees a complete change in permissions and has no clue how that could happen. Is there a method/procedure with which an (unfortunate)&160;admin/host can change the change the permissions of the complete document (folder/file) tree

We use DMX to archive payroll documents and so every single document in our module is restricted to an individual user account and the administrator.
When logged in as administrator I can see all documents. In&160;permissions&160;for the document I can see the name of the individual user who has read only access to the document.

Hello there, I've been using your trial version of DMX to test to see if it's what we'd want to use it on our site.&160;One of my tests involved having a portal with DMX on it, and&160;creating templates to quickly replicate similar looking portals.

Updating existing Folders and or files. 3134 1

Hello Perter,
Recently everytime I try to update a folder or a file a get the following error after making the change.
Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count.
This is happening with all users that have edit permissions including the host account. Funny that when I create a new folder or upload a new file I can customize the permissions with no problems. Any ideas I'm running DNN 05.02.00 with DMX 5.2.8

Hi Peter,
I think there is a bug with the last version of DMX 05.02.08.
When I search keywords with the search engine, the results shown are good but the links are bad in the DMX search component.
I mean that the good files are picked up but the links to the files don't work, it redirects to a page which has nothing to do with the file... Furthemore the direct download link (with the blue save icon) don't work either... It redirects to the same page..

I have a DMX set up that has a custom folder for each user based on the username. This allows them to have their own files in their own folder and noone else can see them. However, when the files are added to one of the categories I have created, other users are able to see them. Is this how it is supposed to work How can I make it so that only that user can see the files in the categories. Our company drives a technet using DMX 3 (about 20 editors and more than 200 readers) - implemented a long time ago with a lot of custumization...
It's getting slower and slower, additionally the functionality is not the way we want it today.
Unfortunately the guy who did it is no longer available and all his code is not documented one bit.

Last week I&160;downloaded 5.2.3 which was supposed to fix the S3 problem I&160;had originally reported as well as others.
When I went to the storage section and I selected S3 and click the test button it gave me some result that it made looked like it was working.
However, since I&160;had the problem with the double click on the document with IE which I reported in the User Interface forum, I&160;didn't set the storage to S3.&160;

Hello,
We were wondering if there was a way through the settings to make DMX more HTML (Filemanager) friendly.&160;
If someone were to upload an image (for example) file through DMX, but then wished to insert it on a page in the HTML editor, right now they would never be able to find it as the folder structure only exists in SQL, and the files all have new names.

Hi, can I just say what a fantastic piece of software this is!
We were going to write something ourselves, but no need now we have found yours.
We want to use DMX on our Company intranet that is using DNN 4.9.2 for central storage of company documents using a network shared folder(s), can you confirm that if someone creates new subfolders in this share (i.e. January memo's/February memo's etc) that these will be replicated within the DMX module
