Hi,

I have a question about the notification process of DMX. This is really simple:

  • First, I have unchecked all notification options in the notification administration tab of DMX
  • In my DNN Portal I use 3 generic user accounts (configured with my mail) which are used by differents users depending of their rights on the portal
  • When a user (which has the rights)  deletes a file, I receive a notification mail saying that the file has been deleted.

Is there somewhere else where I have to configure the notification options ?

Thanks for your answers,

Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

I'm not quite sure I understand. First: what do you mean "unchecked all notification options"? The notifications screen shows a whole bunch of textboxes as well. What did you do on that screen exactly?

Second: what does the question relate to? I can't determine from your post what you're trying to achieve and where this goes wrong. What do you want to do?

Hi Peter,

Sorry for the delay. I took time to read in details your documentation about notifications and actually, I thought the Auditor checkbox was the trigger for the notifications, which is not the case of course.

So now I have also deleted all the fields like 'CoreApprover' etc and I don't get any more notifications.

I will definitely use this notification functionnaly but in a second time, thanks for your work on this Peter ! This is great !

Cheers,

Nicolas
