Crtical Error when selecting zip and download 3054 3

Hi,
DNN 4.08.04
DMX 5.00.01
When selecting 'zip and download' on a folder or file, an error similar to this one is shown :
A critical error has occurred.
size was 7930, but I expected 7823
The size varies with the thing being zipped of course.&160; The strange thing is that this only started occurring a few days ago, prior to that the zip facility was working.&160; Nothing has changed in the DNN or DMX installation.
Please advise.

We are about to launch a new section of an existing site - http://alf.com.m-&160; that in a a private section has&160; Document Exchange. This was added in order to enable our client to provide accounting services to his clients reducing operating costs.
Our customer is complaining though that the site is having a poor performance when loading documents and when navigating the document management module to look for files, especially when four or more of his employees are uploadi...

Too many notification emails being sent 4222 13

I am using DMZ 04.00.06.
I have got a directors security role with 12 users in it.
I created a folder called 'minutes' and adding 5 files.
I then logged in as each user and subcribed them to the 'minutes' folder.
Each of them received 5 email notifications which say that they have subscribed to the 'minutes' folder.
I was expecting 1 email for each user. It appears that it is sending them a notification for each document inside the folder.
Is this correct or is this a bug

I'm getting reports from a few users that after downloading a PDF file, they cannot open the file, Adobe Reader gives the following error 'File does not begin with pdf.'
It seems it may be related to the encoding or MIME type - does anyone have any suggestions about fixing it

On 1/16, I approved a document in DMX.&160; I didn't get an approval notification, so I assumed there was something wrong with the configuration.
On 1/21, I visited the website, and sure enough, an email appeared in my inbox about the approval.&160; Is there a reason why the approval wouldn't have been sent upon the action of approving the document&160; I.e. does the notification get associated with a date and time that it needs to be sent and then it might be missed during the actual appro...

This post is actually to solicit feedback from other DMX 5 users.
On my DNN 4.9.1 site, I have found after installing .NET 3.5 SP1, and making no other changes, everything continues to work correctly, including the DMX AJAX UI.
However, once I make other mandatory changes to web.config to switch DNN in general to&160;AJAX version 3.5, the DMX AJAX UI ceases to function, with lots of page load errors. (Also, you must delete the old System.Web.Extensions.dll from the DNN\Bin folder to eliminate...

Hi. I want to have a simple document module exactly like the basic DNN one. What I want is to set roles on documents inside that module. Lets say the modole is viewable by roles 1, 2 and 3. In the module, there are 3 documents. Role 1 can see all 3 of them, role 2 can see doc 2 and role 3 can see doc 3.
Is Document Exchange from Bring 2 Mind the solution for me I'm willing to pay but I want to make sure I buy the right stuff.

Small number of users reporting they cannot see the files in DMX 3953 1

I have a few hundred users on a public site that is using DMX to manage a library of about 7,000 files and for the most part it's working very well, but I am getting a few reports from people saying they cannot see the files.
I'll work with them to get it resolved, but I just wanted to check to see if there are any known issues that I can check for as part of a 'standard' client troubleshooting list.
The only thing I can think of would be that they have Javascriptiing turned off but that seems...

Bad URL in the main module display 3188 1

There is a bad URL being generated by the DMX module - right after the ComponentArt TreeView Javascript block the following div with images is appearing in my page, note the bolded image URL is repeating part of the path and therefore that image is not found. I haven't seen where the image is missing in the page, I noticed this as a 404 error on my site.
My Dotnetnuke installation is in a folder named DNN1

There doesn't seem to be a way to find all uncategorized entries. If 'Uncategorized' was available in the left menu under the Categories node this would be helpful. Maybe this should be enabled/disabled through Main Options.

DMX module is empty in IE7/Vista browser 4063 6

When accessing my site from my w2k3 server box on IE6 the module is working as expected.&160; When I switch to my IE7/Vista box the module appears as an empty box on the screen.&160;&160; Is this a known issue.&160; I am sorry I dont have much time to research this as we are suppose to go live next week and I have over 1000 documents to migrate to this DMS since I purchased it today.

In template view I show a number of folders which also have subfolders.
What I would like to have happen is that when someone clicks on a folder I get a fresh view with a list of the subfolders and files.
Right now what happens is:
&160; 1- It goes to the treeview
&160; 2- It opens the folder, and shows its attributes along with the contents.
Option 2 is closer to my goal, but the attributes basically mess up the clean view.
Is there any way to make it act as I mentioned above.
