View issue with Powerpoint .pot template file 3296 3

Hi Peter,
I uploaded a PPT template (.pot) file to dmx, but when I double click to open/view - the&160;open/save dialog&160;comes up, I select open, and the 'download to temporary folder' dialog comes up as expected - except that it gets stuck and nothing happens.
If I set the file attribute as a 'Powerpoint Document' you can open it ok using the webdav 'open in powerpoint icon' option. But the direct view issue as&160;I described earlier, is a bit annoying for users who aren't logged in.

Vertical Scrollbar in grid not showing 3731 5

I have been messing with ViewCollections.ascx for quite awhile now trying to fix an issue I am having.
I have a number of folders with many documents in them.&160; Once I get more documents then can be displayed on the screen then I run into issues with the vertical scroll bar on the right.&160;&160; The scrollbar does not show completely.&160;
Looking at the source it appears that the details pane area is covering the bottom of the Grid.&160;&160;

Deleting a file that has versions 3433 2

Hi,
I'm trying to delete a file that has versions but whenever I go to the (soft) delete option when right clicking on a file, it won't get deleted.&160; If I try it on a file whithout versions, it gets deleted fine.&160; Is this correct, do you know about this

I've decided to buy DMX4 and while exploring this application I assumed there was some functionality to upload a zipfile which I can extract on the website (i.d.: documents including the structure). Can anyone tell me if this is possible I thank you in advance for an answer.

Is there anyway to restrict folder creation to just admins or a secified group&160; So that someone who can add files can only do that, they cannot also add folders.

Hi Peter,
I have been asked for reasons unkown to me, to generate a list of all files that have been added to our DNN Portal since a specific date.&160; I've been able to generate this report using the DMX tables in SQL however, it is very time consuming for me to run and format.&160; I was wondering if you had something like the ShortList but that does all files and folders in your site, this way my users could run the the report on their own.

The default sort order is hard-coded within the ViewCollection user control (line 110: Sort='IsCollection DESC, Title'). Peter couldn't you make this available by module settings, like at the Shortlist module

Errors Deleting and Downloading 11850 17

I am getting a couple of errors that is restricting my use of DMX4.
1. When I try to hard delete a file or folder it get an error message box stating "The data could not be loaded." Therefore I cannot delete files or folders.
2. When I try to download files or when I add a file or folder to DMX I get an error message within the page
A critical error has occurred.
The stored procedure 'dbo.DMX_AddLog' doesn't exist.
Any help on these would be most apprec...

I could not find any documentation on who gets included in the various notification groups (CORE_APPROVE, CORE_APPROVER_APPROVE, CORE_EDITOR_APPROVE, etc.).&160; Right now, if someone uploads a document, everyone gets a message to approve, even if they don't have rights to do that.&160; I can't find anyplace to set a specific role for approvers or individuals other than the auditor.&160; It's driving people nuts, yet I don't want to turn off all notifications.

Hello,
When&160;a user uploads a new file it does not show&160;the 'Unapproved Items' menu item in the DMX&160;tree with the items waiting for approval in any user that has approval permissions - I have checked the permissions and the users and even host&160;all have the necessary&160;approval permissions for documents etc.
Ive tried running the reset menu option but without any joy
Any ideas of what I can try next or what may be causing the problem

I have problem when trying to upload a CHM file into my DMX module. After I upload the file successfully into the module, I get an error message when trying to open the file directly from the module: “The address is not valid”. It seems that for some reasons, the CHM file cannot update the URL once it is uploaded into the module (it still uses my local machine address in order to find the HTML file instead of the one that is in the server).
