PDF issue 3080 3

Hi Peter, just had this from a new admin level user of DMX, regarding PDF files.
just tried the Download => Save =>&160;Open option rather than than Download => Open and the behaviour is the same, the attributes Document Assembly, Commenting, Signing and Creation of Template Pages are marked as not allowed despite being enabled when the documents were created.
Is it possible the uploading of a PDF can somehow disable this functionality It sounds a bit strange to me.

How can you speed up response time of DMX? 3426 3

Hi Peter,
I was wondering if there are any 'tweeks' that can be done to speed up the response time of DMX ie. changing directory, searching etc.&160;Our IT guy claims the Network is not responsible, but I don't think thats entirely true.
Any thoughts, Peter ... or anyone!

DMX Admin 3386 1

Hi Peter,
I've given someone view/edit/add rights to a folder in dmx but they&160;do not&160;have a dnn Admin role. This means that they can only do 'soft' deletes. They tried to 'soft' a word file but&160;it still 'shows' in the folder. Also when I log in as admin, soft deletes should show up as red, but this one doesn't he has soft deleted other (pdf) items and they disappear as expected.
Also is there any way of giving them the power to do Hard Deletes without them having a DNN Admin ro...

DMX 04.03 RSS help 6182 12

Hi,
I am trying to get the RSS feed on the new DMX version to work but am having a bit of trouble.&160; I've looked at the documentation and have enabled the RSS as directed, it then says that you need to 'Use the link under the RSS buttons' to retrieve the feed url.&160; I cannot seem to find this, where exactly are the RSS buttons&160; I want to use this RSS feed in the DNN core news feed module, I take it that this is possible

Hi Peter,
I get the following error in the latest version of DMX after upgrading.
Right click doc and select 'mail me' generates the following error:

Sorry we cannot adjust the upload speed for HTTP.
It is best to use FTP for uploading large files.

Hi Peter,
Is there a table in the DMX system that will allow me to force Version numbers to a particular value for a specific document. We&160;often have situations where documents are uploaded at versions other than 1, so it would be handy if I could tweek the value manually (until this features in an update of course).

we have see today a very negative effect when we have Entries with long Names the Col is stretched that we see not more other cols in teh Data-Grid and the right vertical Scrollbar is also not more visible.

Duplicate Notifications from 1 event issue 3397 7

Hi Peter, I have just upgraded to 4.03.01 and folder (content) subscription is working now, but I have a&160;few issues.
1) Despite placing a Key in the Notifications matrix for 'Delete', I do not receive an email for that event.
2) I have also been getting between 1 and&160;up to&160;4, identical&160;emails notifying me of 1 event. I will continue testing to see if there is some kind of pattern.
3) Why are most of the emails still arriving seperately, I have only had 1 so far that conta...

How can I show RSS icon using a custom skin? 3419 2

Hi, I have setup RSS as stated for my module, but can only see the 'RSS&160;Feed' in dropdown menu that is only visible in page 'Edit' mode when I'm logged in as admin.
As there is no drop down in 'View' mode, and I've used a custom skin&160;which doesn't show any icons at the bottom&160;&160;how can I get our users to see the icon in my skin

Hi Peter,
I installed trial version 04.02.03 and I experience a display issue, the module appears 'bare' as with no styling at all. After checking this with firebug, no module.css file is loaded or any other css file that comes with the module.
The html looked alright as far as I could judge, various sections of the UI seem to be present as well as a whole bunch of scripts.
Any idea why css would not load

Hello again!
I am not getting any notifications when adding files to a folder.&160; I am using the default notification setting except when I didn't receive any email as an approver, I added the 'CORE_APPROVE' to the Self section.&160; I also have my email address in the auditor field in setup.&160; Email notification works fine for things like password or security role changes in DNN.
Here is the error I am getting.&160; There are more that follow but this is the first.

I see from the forum topics that there is a problem with copy/move files through the clipboard.&160; I am experiencing the problem with DMX4.02.02 and DNN4.08.02.&160; I am able to use WebDav to move files; however, this is not a solution for our clients to move their own files.
When do you expect this to be fixed
When do you expect to have the drag and drop feature available

Peter,
a client just told me that he has a problem with German umlauts (ä,ö,ü) in filename. Those chars obviously would&160;work before the last update, since 4.3.0 they don't. Filenames now become something like
BMBF-Anträge_-_Infos_der_TMF_für_ihre_Miglieder.pdf
&160;
when&160;downloading files.
