DMX Document Detail View Loading Problem 3698 3

Hi
When I click on any Document and&160; file for&160; change it's attributes etc. then I cannot edit any entry by selecting it and right clicking it. the loading image does not finish even for hours after you select a document in left and bottom panes of the module
Basically this problem occur whith my online configuration ,When i use fresh DNN installation and configure DMX then it's view is good on my local system but when i use same configuration for my online site then loading image doe...

Deleted files appear (with red text) in the file list panel of categories for both admin and non-admin users.

In collections only admins can see the deleted files in this manor so I'm assuming this is a bug (using 4.2.1).

Hi
When I View DMX Module then search dropdowns do not disappear form the DMX screen. Basically this problem occur whith my online configuration ,When i use fresh DNN installation and configure DMX then it's view is good on my local system but when i use same configuration for my online site then Search Box's filter Drop Down Control always appear.
So can you guide me here to resolve this error I guess this must be some sort of settings in web.config, but I couldn't sucessfully figure the res...

Peter,
In v3 we had the option to upload a zip file and have it be unzipped after it was uploaded. This allowed my clients to upload multiple files at once. Has this been removed (I can't find it).
WebDAV is not an option.
Or, is there a way to provide people with the "import" option on the File menu I can see it as an admin, but if I could selectively assign it to groups, this would solve a huge issue.

Hi - I really like your downloads page, how it looks, the more 'cuddly' interface to the standard DMX 4 document library interface, it would suit website visitors much better.

Were running DMX 4.6.2 and DMX 4.2.0.
We're getting the following exception when uploading files.&160; It consistenly happens on large files, but is sporadic on smaller files.&160;&160; We have uploaded large files to this folder previously with no problems.

Hi,
when I'm locking a document it is showing this as a status in the details-section.
For me this status doesn't affect any user-action on this file, that means, users are able to edit this file or to upload a new version although it is locked.
Is locking only a status-information or am I doing something wrong to really lock a file

Is there a way to easily disable any notifications from being sent&160; I am in the process of upgrading and re-desiging a DNN portal, but because I have uses subscribed notifications are going being sent out as I move items around.&160; As a workaround right now I have disabled email on the entire site, but what I'd like is regular email to be sent but have no DMX email being sent.&160; I saw you can disable the functionality by removing the entries in the .resx file but that is desired.&1...

Cannot Add New Files to a New Folder 3434 5

I am not able to add files to a new folder.&160; I am able to add new files to old folders.&160; Everything seems to function ok, but I can not see the new files in the folder - through DNN or WebDav.&160; The files appear to be added to the /Portals/0/DMX directory.&160; It seems that the DB is not hooked up correctly.
When files are added to a new folder using Webdav, the file is visable in WebDav, but not in DNN.

I'll do my best to describe what we are seeing. When logged in as an administrator, we are suddenly having problems with certain directories. This&160;means that when I right client,&160;on the folder&160;nothing happens, only a brief flicker. Is there a way to assign a large number or documents the same catagories or attributes
I would like to get rid of folders and use catagories instead so that the 'filter list on' is most useful.&160; Before I move the items out of the folder I would like to apply the proper attributes and or catagories.&160;
It would be especially nice if this was possible through WebDAV folders.&160; (I realize there is a WebDAV group but I thought that I would start here).

Hi Peter we have used and need the Usage from a Slash / in the Title but when we create a new Object or we must edit so one we receive the Error that we have a illegal Character in the String.
In Custom-Attributes is this Character allowed but we need this to 100 also in the Title!!!
