DMX Trial version 4.01, DNN ver. 4.08, XP Prof SP2
I did a clean install of DNN and only added DMX. I did not activate. URL is /localhost/dmx
Logging in as Admin, I created a DMX module and the main screen appearred fine. I added 2 folders under and the main screen still displayed fine. I rebooted my PC and module is there but the whole main screen is blank. I can go into "Setting" and see the Document Exchange Module Setting section. I un...

DMX 4 Trial - Activation Trouble 3270 2

Hi there,
I downloaded the trial version of DMX 4 Professional and have the module successfully installed on my site and an instance of it added to one of my pages. I went to the License page, selected "Trial License" and chose the "Manual Activation" option to have it generate the server ID that I need to copy into the License Request form on your site.
But when I copy the server ID into the form and submit it, I receive a message stating...

Hi - I have been unable to get this working on DNN 4.6.2.
I believe I'm close but am I missing something.
I checked the docs and web.configs, and moved around the order to see if would make a difference, then I just went back to default settings
I have checked in IIS that webdav is prohibited.

Congradulations on the new release, it looks great and will purchase it when all the bugs are worked out. I can't wait to have DMX4 with WebDav working on our site.
I think this module kicks butt on Xerox Docushare and have been recommending DMX3 to everyone thinking of document management.

I got this error when I upgraded. First, I followed the instructions, but I probably should have changed my IIS settings before installing the module (I was following the order of the document). I got a big section of red errors in the install log and reviewed all the steps to verify the module was loaded. After I upgraded from DMX 3 to DMX 4, the module no longer runs properly when accessing the page in secure (https) mode. Specifically, the menus do not display properly (almost like the background for the menu is lost) and the upload control will not function (I keep getting an error about the improper configuration /registration of the Telerik RadUploadProgressHandler module.)

I've been trying to activate a license through Manual Activation a dozen of time and it always give me this error message everytime I paste the generated Server ID at the License Request page:
License not found. This can be because either:
1. The license was not yet added to the database
2. The supplied details (email, invoice etc) were incorrect
I've checked and double-checked the Account ID (which is my registered email) and Invoice Number I entered and it's still no good.

I have two different types of issues with Firefox and IE. I just installed the trial version of DMX 4 on my local machine (Vista) which has DNN 4.5.5 installed.
Firefox v2 - I was able to upload a document, but the double click and right click functionality does not work. When I double click the screen refreshes, but the file is not opened. When I right click on a file I see the usual browser menu instead of the DMX menu.

Just purchased v.4 (upgraded from v3) and did the install. Everything seemed to work fine - the install guide double-checks for a good install all checked out & I performed the IIS setups and changes to Host Settings that were suggested. However, I am having a number of problems:

I just downloaded to use the trial before we purchase. When I click to get the activation through the web service or http web request, it bring back an error the error:

I have been testing DMX 4 on an upgrade from DMX 3. I have specifically chosen the portal that had the files saved in its own local Portal folder and not in a shared drive.

I purchased and implemented DMX3 on my corporate site less than one year ago with the impression that I could upgrade to DMX4 without additional cost if it was released within one year from purchase (standard for most applications). Will I be able to download and install DMX4 over top of my DMX3 installation and still have an activated system that won't stop working Thanks for providing a totally reliable web-based document management system.

Hi i'm a little new to all of this but I am having trouble opening word 2007 documents (docx), they seem to be treated as a zip file, this i'm guessing may be down to the wrong mime type being used.
If i save the document in compatability mode (word 2003) it all works fine.
Could someone advise me if there is a configuration setting that needs to be altered to get this working, also easy to follow step by step instructions would be helpful.

After our upgrade from 3 to 4 this morning, whenever I navigate to a page with the module on it, I get the following error
Sys.UI.DomEvent is null or not an object.
I am using IE7 here. Also, when I "double click" on a spreadsheet, I get the "binary" code displayed in my browser instead of Excel poping-up. But PDFs work correctly.
Most of my users are using IE7 (some are still at IE6), and we've got about a 50/50 mix of Office 2...
