DMX4 Demo can it be run on Hosted server? 3831 5

Prior to purchasing DMX4 for a client we would like to check that it will work on thier DNN install (4.8.2) and thier host EasyCGI.
Is it possible to install the Demo on the easycgi server for a couple of weeks to check the operation

I find that notifications work in a parent portal install of DMX, but the message body indicates the issue: 'Could not find original or default template for key 'CORE_MAILME' in portal 6 (default language en-US) for locale en-US in resource file .' Looking at notifications config there are no resource files assigned, why would that be Does it have to be manually installed

Replacing Open Document Library 2649 2

Seeking some advise. We are replacing Open Document Library with DMX6. We have 49gb of files in our 'library'. ODL also uses the single folder tree structure as does DMX. Our problem with ODL is that it has a limitation of 1500 folders, we have almost 3500. Anytime a user tries to add or delete folders, the query times out. My question is can I install DMX6 to the portal, and point to our existing folder tree and let DMX sync up

I have been trying to reinstall DMX ver 05.03.09 on DNN6 and I keep getting this error: SQL Execution resulted in following Exceptions: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: There is already an object named 'DMX_GetEventLog' in the database. I have followed the instruction on how to manually remove DMX and still keep getting this error. I cannot find the DMX_GetEventLog table anywhere on my SQL server (Running SQL 2005) Any help would be greatly appreciated! Dan

I have purchased the partial source code version (5.3.9) of your module and installed it on my site. I can see the CodeBehind files when browsing the site with Visual Studio 2010, but when I open the project file in Visual Studio to recompile my changes, several of the vb files are missing. Can you provide a complete build as the 'partial source' download on your site is incomplete. It would be extremely helpful to provide instructions as there missing references in your project as well...

I cant get the folder sync to work at all. Everything is set up correctly but when I go to add a sync folder it says: This path is invalid. Please use a path that starts with 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\Intranet\Portals\0\' Okay so that is not going to work as I need to sync with other folders on the server. On another installation I dont get the above error but the sync folder remains empty. I see in the schedule that no files have been indexed (even though there are 5 in there). I placed in the...

Hi, I'm having an issue when attempting to update a hyperlink entry in DMX. I'm on the latest version of DMX 5.3.9. Here is a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/KawNX.png Basically, I attempt to update the link and I get a validation message that I need to upload a file which isn't a part of this process. The process works correctly when creating a new hyperlink. It appears to only be an issue when attempting to update the link with a new version. Thanks for any help, Jesse

Hi Peter I noticed very strange behaviour when I add DMX module to a child portal. Everything seems to works correctly, except the fact that I can't navigate to any user control available under DMX menu (ex. New Item, Categories, etc.). Looks like it stopped to add parameter suffixes to urls. However when I type it manually (for ex. ../Default.aspxtabid=266&&ctl=Categories&mid=348) I am redirected to completely blank created page. Hi Peter, In one of my branches, I have unticked 'Permissions Only By Admin' and also removed any approvers from the approvers column. This seems to auto approve files placed in those folders, is that correct Is that how you intend files to be uploaded without requiring approval thanks Mark

Hi there I installed DMX on a trial license a year ago on my development machine. I then bought a license for a client and that is working fine on the production machine. The client now want me to do some updates, but my trial license has expired. I am happy to run it on 127.0.0.1 for my development tests etc. However, it still blocks me to add or edit content.
