We are running a slightly modified version of DMX 5.3.7. The modifications are to the file upload process and should not be impacting this issue in anyway as far as I know. Upgrade DMX 3 to DMX 6 Lite 2800 1

hi Peter, I am upgrading my version of DNN which my version of DMX is no longer compatible with. I want to upgrade DMX versions but use Lite instead of the full version. The upgrade process doesn't work for me though, telling me there is already a newer full version installed. Full yes, newer no. I don't want to lose all my settings and documents though so I don't want to have to reinstall from scratch. What's your advice Thanks.

Apologies if someone has already asked this question before. I tried a search on this forum but couldn't find what I was looking for.
You had a user manual for DMX version 3 which was intended for general use of the module. It was very useful document to give to customers. I can't find anything similar for version 5. Do you have any plans for&160;a user manual for this release

Hi, I have DMX installed and working well for files up to 100Mb but when I try to upload a file of 180Mb to S3, the system never succeed and the file remains in the upload directory. Hi Peter, We are currently running DMX 3.5.6 under DNN 4.9.0. We will be upgrading to the latest DNN 6.1.3 (Professional Edition). We know that DMX 3.5.6 is not compatible with that DNN version. If we wanted to get DMX 6, can we upgrade our 3.5.6 or do we need to purchase a new DMX 6 license. Please let me know what is the best way to get to DMX 6. Also, does DMX 6 have any search integration with the SearchCrawler in DNN 6 Professional Thanks!

When an entry is hard deleted is it inserted in the DMX_Log table.&160; Our library is missing some entries and I&160;suspect someone hard deleted them, but can't seem to find an audit trail for it.

Hi, I have a problem with the RSS feed from DMX 6.01. I am running it on a hosted site (on the latest DNN) and I have several instances of DMX installed - one for Records and one for Documents. I want to use the RSS to inform about documents that have been entered. I have enabled the RSS for each of the instances and there is content in at least one of them. I just installed the letterbox through DNN's installation wizard. I then proceeded to add the module onto the same page as my Doc Exchange. After adding it all that showed up was the DNN Blue information box with the italicized I in it. Did I install this extension wrong or do I not understand how it's used

I installed version 6.0.1 today upgrading from 5.3. Everything appears to work except the mail function. I enabled the function and I get the menu option, but when I select a file and click on mail. The screen flashes and takes me to the root folder.

We're running version 6.01 and noticed that when a document is added to DMX, subscribers are getting an email that indicates that this document has been added, approved, deleted, downloaded, etc ... meaning that the email triggered too doc statuses that do not apply. How to change who gets notifications 2920 1

is there a way to create custom email notification groups for example, we use dnn and dmx on an internal company portal and all employee's are dnn 'subscribers' , however, i would like to setup a new group/role that only get notifications of newly added documents in dmx ..these users are a subset of all the users. I thought maybe i could somehow configure 'core_subscribers' but not sure if that is the answer.

Hi, Peter... I just attempted to install both the 6.0.0 and 6.0.1 upgrades and received the same error with both: SQL Execution resulted in following Exceptions: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Column names in each table must be unique. Column name 'Thumbnail' in table 'dbo.DMX_Entries' is specified more than once...... Any thoughts I tried 6.0.1 first, then attempted 6.0.0 thinking maybe I should to upgrade in order. Neither worked though. Any help would be greatly appreciated!...

E-mail notifications to wrong people 2664 2

When a document has been approved, the corresponding e-mail notification is sent to a group of people. Neither of these people placed the document for approval and as such they should not receive any notification. The group of people (in my little sample) all have edit rights. I assume that this is not intentionally and therefore another bug, or is it something that result from the settings.

When one approve a document to be entered in DMX 6.01, the corresponding e-mails sent out to the approver and the doc owner now contain 19 repeating lines stating that the doc has been approved. I assume it is a bug
